The World Cup Phenoms will arrive on Friday, December 9 at the regular time of 14:00 ET / 18:00 GMT. We expect the WC Phenoms player mini-release to come out on Sunday, December 11th. It's also likely that Team 3 from WC Icons will appear in packs at the same time as the main Phenoms roster, as there are even more leaked players we haven't seen yet.

This event will last only one week and will be replaced on Friday, December 16th by the World Cup Team of the Tournament promotion. The official information about World Cup Phenoms is contained in the press release:

Following the Quarter-Finals, FUT fans will be treated to a new class of phenomena from the FUT Phenoms World Cup, featuring some of the hottest stars in football. It seems to us that this event will be dedicated to the young players who shone on the big stage, or perhaps the players who came out of nowhere and showed some of the best results.

It is unlikely that these will be players who could also be included in the WC Tournament team, so while Cody Gakpo would be a good fit for this edition, we think he would be more likely to make the WCTOTT team.
